★ 5 · Stephanie Pikulski · 2025-11-30We spent a week on the Aggressor IV for our first liveaboard, and all future liveaboards will have to live up to this standard for us. From the moment we boarded, the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We were able to set up our dive gear as soon as we got on the boat, then unpack in our rooms and relax. We dove 3-5 times per day depending on conditions. Diving was very easy with a lot of diversity - the walls around Belize have some of the largest coral I've ever seen. You could choose to stay in the shallower area (usually around 20-40 ft) above the coral, or drop down on the sides and search the wall for marine life. We saw a wide variety of sea life, including the endemic toadfish, sharks, rays, turtles, and more. We also got the opportunity to dive the Great Blue Hole - its a quick bounce dive, but nice to be able to check it off the bucket list. The staff truly made the trip. They all work so hard to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable adventure. There was always at least one DM in the water with us, and sometimes 2 depending on the dive. Captain Dennis, Mateo, Alex, and John were all so knowledgeable in the water. I also cant forget Jerry (chef), Carlos (sous chef), and Elia (stewardess) who made our time on the boat so comfortable. Jerry and Carlos easily accommodated multiple dietary restrictions and Elia was extremely attentive to everyone's needs at mealtimes. They also worked so hard to keep the boat clean and pristine. Aggressor will be the only way we dive from now on.
★ 5 · Brandon Meadows · 2022-09-08I've been told I've ruined myself by having this as my first Liveaboard experience... Lets just say the bar has been set high... The ship has been well maintained since it was converted to a Liveaboard. My only complaint would be that the showers in the cabin are a bit small for a 6' Male that's about 260 lbs. Realistically I showered on the back deck after every dive so overall this is fairly mute for me... attempted one shower in the cabin and showered outside every time from then on... The food... holly crap Chef Jerry, and Sue Chef Carlos knows their stuff!!! We always had a well-balanced portion, with plenty of snacks. If more food was needed, it sure seemed like nobody ever left the dining area without enough. The menu is tailored for health needs and alternates are made as needed. Everyone was satisfied to their fullest. (Shout out to Chef Jerry!!!) Zander was the Stweart and overall kept everything moving. I wasn't expecting my bed to be made for me with candy on the side table... but this man delivered. He assisted with every meal ensuring communication with the kitchen to ensure we had what and how much we wanted and provided at a minimum 4* (more like 5*) service 100% of the time, with a smile that never faltered. The dive masters all had other jobs on the boat (including the captain taking his turn) They had the insight of years of experience going to the same dive sites, giving an accurate diagram and briefing before each dive, and offering a tour. I generally did my own thing with my dive buddy, but in doing so missed a few cool things the group saw, (though I also saw things they didn't) (shout out to John, Daniel {the soon-to-be-certified Captin and 2nd in command}, Rocke {for also doing the video and pictures}. We ended with a fantastic party on board, we were able to purchase a video of the trip and all the recorded dives, the crew also gave those not purchasing the video etc. a bunch of pictures of many of the highlights. The boat was comfortable and large enough to sail the waters without much movement. It was well equipped to handle any and all issues that arose and had ample services on board to make it feel quite luxurious. Beds were two to a room twin bed with room for our non-diving gear (not bunk beds), with set locations for each of us for our diving gear. There was little to no noise noticed on the main living level, though I heard the lower living level gets a bit loud in the mornings. Everyone that's done other liveaboards kept informing me I'll never be able to do one of the cheaper liveaboards, though figuring a per dive price... this was still a steal!!!
★ 4 · Connie Watkins · 2022-07-18Very pleasant liveaboard experience. The vessel was renovated not long back and is in good shape. Crew was amazing and fun. Service was impeccable. Easy diving, mostly walls. Belize has some nice sites out beyond the atolls. Was disappointed by our driver who shuttled us to the airport on departure day. His driving was reckless and frightening.
