Über Alpha Divers
Nur einen Steinwurf vom berühmten Wrack der Zenobia in Larnaca, Zypern, entfernt, ist das Alpha Divers Scuba Diving Center ein 5-Sterne-PADI-CDC-Tauchzentrum, das seinen Ruf vor allem am Zenobia-Wrack und den umliegenden Schiffswracks begründet hat und sowohl Freizeittaucher als auch technische Taucher gleichermaßen betreut.
Kurse und wofür es bekannt ist
Mit sechs PADI-Tauchlehrern im Team bietet Alpha Divers das komplette Spektrum an PADI-Kursen – vom PADI Scuba Diver bis hin zu Instructor Specialty Courses. Für Wrack-Enthusiasten stehen direkt am Zenobia-Wrack Spezialkurse wie Wreck, Deep oder Nitrox auf dem Programm. Gleichzeitig gilt das Zentrum als zentrale Anlaufstelle für Techneltauchen auf Zypern und unterstützt Taucher mit Twinset, Sidemount und CCR-Systemen.
Das Tauchboot Kalypso legt zweimal täglich zu Tagesausflügen auf, unter anderem zu den Tauchplätzen Alexandria-Wrack und ELPIDA WRECK. Ein vor Ort betriebener Service für die komplette Tauchausrüstung sowie ein gut sortierter Fachhandel vervollständigen das Angebot. Da das Team Englisch, Französisch, Deutsch, Italienisch und Norwegisch spricht, ist das Zentrum besonders bei europäischen Tauchgästen beliebt, die die Wracks vor Larnaca erkunden möchten.

★ 5 · Andrew Roberts · 2015-09-28I contacted Alpha Divers as I was working in Cyprus for a week. I wanted to dive the Zenobia but I had only one day (a Sunday) that I could dive in it was in March (outside the main season). A lot of dive centres were closed on Sundays, and others used a shared boat that wasn't running at that time of year, or would have charged extra for a single diver. Alpha Divers have their own boat, and Chris was more than happy to make the trip to the Zenobia with a single diver only which I thought was excellent. They were helpful and friendly and the wreck itself is fantastic. We did two dives - one around the outside and the second through one of the cargo holds and then through the accommodation block.
★ 5 · Victor Anderton · 2014-12-01Just wanted to say my partner and I had a great dive experience with Alpha and enjoyed both days with 5 dives and 3 different wrecks My partner did her Advanced and Nitrox certs and the tuition was very good, equipment was top quality. What I would recommend is that now its getting colder maybe a nice cup of hot tea would be nice between dives as we did get a bit chilly on the surface interval but this is not a criticism we had a great time and will definitely recommend it to friends.
