★ 5 · Irene T. · 2021-04-05I found Desert Divers looking for PADI 5* dive centers, for the quality of their service and safety, as they had a great reputation and they didn't disappoint. The equipment was good, and the team was professional in every way. I stayed at the hotel at the same location, arranged by the center, and that made it all the more comfortable. Diving in Dahab is wonderful, ideal for those looking for beautiful coral, smaller marine life, and really amazing drop-offs and cracks to explore from within which we're for me the highlight of the area. At the center, they were also kind enough to organize for me some diving in Sharm including the transfers, although I would recommend to do this with a group as the extra costs can be split between more people. Tanis from Desert Divers was always super nice and warm, very helpful and ready to go the extra mile to accommodate my needs which was really appreciated. But without a doubt my favourite part of these days was diving with Marcos, one of their instructors, who not only is a great diver that made me feel safe at all times, gave me good advice to improve my diving technique, taught me about the local marine life and shared interesting resources, but he is also an amazing human being who made the most of my stay at Dahab not only during diving but at any other time, taking me to lunch to nice local spots, introduced me to the Dahab life, while enjoying his great company and fun conversation, and after this short time I feel like I have a true friend for life.
