Abyss Plongee

Abyss Plongée is a 5-star PADI IDC dive centre set in the Reunion Natural Marine Reserve, just a two-minute walk from the port of Saint-Leu and facing the beach. Three dives run every day, and night dives are added from October to March. Whether you're a first-timer, a logged diver or part of a group, there are sites and courses here to suit everyone.

Courses and diving

The centre covers the full PADI pathway, from a Discover Scuba Diving introduction and the Baptême de plongée through Open Water and Advanced Open Water, plus Enriched Air (Nitrox) for divers ready to extend their range. Guided exploration dives and two-tank outings let certified divers get straight onto the local reefs.

Dive sites include le jardin des kiosques, les arches, Bosy's canyon, la pointe au sel and Passe de l'Ermitage, with encounters that can feature sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. On shore you'll find an air-conditioned classroom, free Wi-Fi, showers, a terrace and a retail shop, with French spoken throughout.
