Action Diving Group

Action Diving Group is a PADI Five-Star IDC — an instructor training and development centre — based in Pingtung, Taiwan. The name "Suiila" comes from Hokkien, a Taiwanese dialect, and means "beautiful," echoing the Chinese phrase "water la." Its aim is to bring together Taiwan's ocean and outdoor life on a shared platform for professionals and everyday divers alike, with a strong focus on healthy activity, ecological education, and reducing single-use plastic through beach and sea clean-ups.

Courses and diving

With 6 PADI Instructors on the team, the centre supports the full training path, from PADI Scuba Diving and Freediving to Snorkelling, TecRec, and EFR First Aid. Local diving centres on 小琉球, where you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, rays, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones, and jellyfish.

Facilities include an onsite classroom, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, a dive boat, onsite accommodation, and parking at a waterfront location. Services run from air fills and Nitrox to equipment sales and a wide range of rentals, plus a dive club and conservation activities. Staff speak English, Mandarin, and Chinese — a natural fit for divers pursuing professional training in a friendly, eco-minded setting.
