About Admiralty Dive Center
Admiralty Dive Center is a full-service, locally owned dive center in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, in the United States Virgin Islands. Run by Jerry and Christy Cowan, the centre pairs attentive customer service with the area's premier dive locations, aiming to make every day underwater as hassle-free as possible.
Courses and dive sites
As a PADI Resort with four PADI Instructors, Admiralty welcomes complete beginners through to divers continuing their education. Not certified yet? The Discover Scuba experience is an easy way to start. Charters serve both island-stay guests and cruise-ship visitors, and its dive sites often reward you with morays, turtles and rays without the crowds — you rarely see many other divers.
On site you'll find a training pool, a classroom, a dive boat, and food and drinks. The dive and repair centre handles air fills, equipment sales, servicing and repairs, plus quality rental gear for those who prefer to travel light. Staff speak English, Spanish and Italian.

Christine was very knowledgeble, patient, she would explain all my questions and give me valuable advice on how to overcome some difficulties. I'm very happy that I've chosen to do my OW with Christine, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone no matter their diving experience. I will come back to Mexico, diving in the ocean or in cenotes. Thank you again for all your hardwork.

She was absolutely fabulous - patient, attentive to details, responsive to my questions, and thorough with respect to all safety matters. I felt secure and confident throughout. She is an excellent instructor and guide. The cenote dives are among the most memorable I have had. The refresher with Christine and having her with me in the cenotes was a major contributor to my confidence and enjoyment of the experience in a spectacular and unique setting. I highly recommend Christine. I hope to return to Playa del Carmen for more diving, and I certainly would engage Christine as an instructor and dive master.
★ 5 · Sandy T · 2012-03-17Having not been diving in a few years and never having gone diving in Mexico, I was impressed with the time and care that was taken to understand the divers in the group as well as to explain all the safety aspects of cavern diving. I was very comfortable with my first cavern dive! The care that was taken to ensure that we were aware of the ways we interact with the underwater world to ensure that the cenotes are there for years to come was admirable. I have already recommended one friend and will continue to do so!
