Plan this trip with AI →The Adriatic Diving Center is a modern, Polish-run diving base set in the Valkanela camp on Croatia's Istria peninsula, between Vrsar and Poreč. The Adriatic sea sits just 20 metres from the door, and each day a professional dive boat heads out to explore the walls, caves and reefs nearby — as well as further expeditions to sunken shipwrecks including the Baron Gautsch, Coriolanus and Hans Schmidt.
As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with 3 PADI Instructors, the centre is a natural fit for both first-timers and divers looking to progress. First-timers can try the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, while the PADI Open Water Diver Course and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver build skills over several days. Local sites include Koversada, Plić Mramori, Lunga and Sveti Nikola.
Facilities cover an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a waterfront location with a house reef, dive boat and parking, plus air fills, nitrox and equipment rental. Staff speak English, German, Italian, Croatian and Polish.
