Alghais Diving Center

Set on the waterfront at the Marina in Doha, Alghais Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star IDC with three PADI Instructors guiding divers through Qatar's waters. As a full instructor-development centre, it's well suited to everyone from first-timers to those chasing professional ratings.

Courses and local diving

Training spans PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Freediving and PADI First Aid – EFR, supported by an onsite training pool and classroom. Divers explore local sites including New Club reef, GMC Reef and The Barge, where marine life ranges from sharks, whales and turtles to ocean fish, mammals and reptiles, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish.

The centre is equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat, onsite accommodation and parking. Services cover air fills, nitrox, equipment sales, scuba equipment rental, a dive club and travel. English is spoken throughout.
