Amba

The MV Amba is a well-established comfort-class liveaboard offering high-quality diving in the Maldives. Built for experienced divers with 30 or more logged dives, the 31-metre yacht carries up to 20 international guests across its wide 10-metre beam, and is run by seasoned German and Italian cruise directors for professional, attentive service on every voyage.

Diving and courses

As a PADI Dive Boat offering PADI Scuba Diving and enriched air (Nitrox), the Amba ranges across the northern, central and southern atolls, with extended 12-day expeditions for those wanting to reach the Maldives' more diverse regions. The ENOS Diver Locator system adds surface monitoring for peace of mind, while warm-water showers, a battery charging station, and fish ID and diving books round out the practical touches.

From September 2026, upgraded upper and lower deck cabins feature en-suite bathrooms, individual air conditioning and fans, alongside a refurbished salon and sun deck. A European head chef leads three daily international buffets of Western, Asian and Maldivian cuisine. With English, German and Maldivian spoken aboard, the Amba suits confident divers seeking comfort and variety.
