Aqua Dive & Watersports

Aqua Dive & Watersports is a PADI 5 Star IDC centre based in Calgary, Canada, run by owners Darrin and Keri Barker, who together have over 30 years of experience running dive shops. With more than 15 PADI instructors on staff, it's a place built around getting people trained, certified, and safely into the water — with plenty of fun along the way.

Training and what's on offer

The shop is well equipped for learning, with a 14-foot in-store pool, two full-size classrooms, and an onsite training pool and classroom. Courses span PADI Scuba Diving, PADI TecRec, PADI Snorkelling, and PADI First Aid (EFR). Services include air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, scuba and travel gear rental, and a dive club. There's also a full service centre handling regulators, BCDs, tanks, wetsuits, and drysuits.

Instruction is offered in English, and the centre regularly hosts dive events and trips, including underwater clean-ups and fun diving. With air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, parking, and a retail shop on site, it suits new divers and experienced ones alike.
