Aquakadabra

Founded in 1988 by Thomas Hinterlang, Aquakadabra has spent 32 years turning newcomers into confident divers in Wurzburg, Germany. Hinterlang has been diving since 1980 and has logged more than 15,000 dives, and today he runs the school alongside Andrea Mehnert. Over the years the team has trained more than 2,800 students — a PADI 5 Star Dive Center staffed by 3 PADI Instructors who take pride in individual, personal support.

Courses and local diving

As professional PADI instructors, the team teaches everything from trial dives and the Open Water Diver course through to Divemaster. The programme spans Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Ice Diver and the ReActivate Scuba Refresher, with courses starting from USD 207. Training happens at an onsite pool and classroom before heading to regional sites such as Messinghausen, See im Berg and Hunsfels-Stromberg.

With a retail shop, dive boat, free Wi-Fi and parking on hand, and instruction offered in English, German and Italian, Aquakadabra suits first-timers and returning divers looking for hands-on guidance.
