Buceo Mantra

Tucked away in Pichidangui on Chile's coast, Buceo Mantra is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort built around a simple idea: underwater ecotourism, taught safely and personally. The school introduces divers to the wonders of the South Pacific with a hands-on, environmentally friendly approach, guiding everyone from first-timers to seasoned divers.

Courses and dive sites

With three PADI Instructors on staff, Buceo Mantra offers the PADI Open Water Diver Course and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, so you can start from scratch or build toward deeper dives. There are more than 15 dive sites suited to all levels, including Bahia Ensueño, where the local marine life ranges from sharks, whales and turtles to eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and anemones.

On-site you'll find a training pool, a dive boat, accommodation, parking and free Wi-Fi, plus air fills and scuba and freediving equipment rental. With courses run in English and Spanish and a focus on comfort and confidence, it's a welcoming base for anyone keen to explore Chile's underwater world.
