Calypso Diving School

Calypso Diving School sits right in the heart of Belgrade, inside the Tašmajdan sport centre — a genuinely handy base for anyone taking their first breaths underwater. The onsite training pool runs 5 m deep, giving beginners space to build confidence before heading further afield. As an Aqualung distributor, the school also stocks a full range of diving equipment at discounted prices.

Courses and who it suits

This PADI Dive Center is staffed by 2 PADI instructors and covers the range you'd hope for: PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling, PADI First Aid — EFR, and conservation. With an onsite classroom, retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, food and drinks, and parking, it's an easy, comfortable place to learn.

The team also runs a dive club and organises diving trips, so there's a natural path from your first pool session to open water. Staff speak English, Italian, Serbian, and Russian, making it a welcoming choice for both local and visiting divers.
