Raja Ampat, Indonesia · Dive Center
Plan this trip with AI →Carpe Diem Phinisi is a 34 meter two-masted yacht, built in 2014 by Bugis craftsmen in the traditional phinisi style using the finest teak and ironwood. A major enhancement in 2017 made her suitable for full time diving operations and liveaboard trips in Raja Ampat, Indonesia, overseen by new owners who are both passionate divers.
Diving here is PADI, and she carries the PADI Dive Boat badge. The foredeck houses a dive station, tanks and a compressor, while a specially designed tender takes up to 10 divers plus two crew members to keep things easy and safe in the water. Warm-water showers, a battery charging station and a shelf of fish ID and diving books cover the practical side, and the crew speak five languages, among them English, Spanish, French and Indonesian.
Four air-conditioned en-suite cabins finished in warm teak sleep seven to ten guests: the double master cabin Pala on the main deck, the twin/double Cengkeh, and the triples Kayu Manis and Pandan below. The upper deck has sun loungers, beanbags and shaded space for yoga, plus two kayaks and two paddleboards.
The crew love having children aboard, so she suits divers travelling as a family.
