Centro de Buceo Buceo Norte

Perched on the waterfront at Iquique, Buceo Norte holds a distinction it wears with pride: the only PADI Dive Center in the north of Chile. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center staffed by three PADI Instructors, it's a place where first-timers and certified divers alike can step straight from the shore into the water.

Courses and guided diving

The center runs Underwater Initiations (DSD) for those trying scuba for the very first time, alongside Guided Dives (DLD) for divers ready to explore with an experienced hand. Its teaching reaches well beyond the tank, too, with PADI Freediving, Mermaid, Snorkelling, Conservation and First Aid (EFR) all on offer.

With a dive boat, on-site equipment sales and scuba rental, and a dive club to bring people together, Buceo Norte is set up for both the casual visitor and the regular. Staff speak English and Spanish, making it a natural home base for travellers exploring Chile's northern coast.
