Centro de Buceo Pintarroja

Based in Maitencillo on Chile's Valparaíso coast, Centro de Buceo Pintarroja has been guiding recreational divers since 2012. This PADI Dive Center pairs a team of 6 PADI instructors with an onsite training pool and classroom, making it a natural home for anyone taking their first steps underwater or building on skills they already have.

Courses and diving

The centre runs a full range of PADI programmes, from a Baptism (DSD) taster and the Open Water Diver certification through to Advanced Open Water and Deep Diver. Divers returning after a break can brush up with PADI ReActivate, while the Diving Against Debris course reflects Pintarroja's commitment to conservation and marine care.

Local waters here hold plenty to see, with sharks, whales, turtles, rays, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish among the marine life. On-site facilities include Nitrox, a dive boat, equipment sales and rental, an adaptive services facility, and food and drinks. With courses and dives from USD 67, it suits beginners, refreshers and inclusive divers alike.
