Cool Dive

Set on Jeju Island in Seogwipo, South Korea, Cool Dive is a PADI Resort built around exploring the island's marine ecosystem. With two PADI instructors on the team and instruction offered in both English and Korean, it's a welcoming base for divers at every stage — including complete beginners, thanks to experience diving you can enjoy without a licence.

Courses and dive sites

The centre runs five courses and activities, from the PADI ReActivate Scuba Refresher to the PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses, all with e-Learning. Prefer to simply get in the water? Half-Day Dive Trips in Jeju run morning and afternoon, each around four hours, from USD 102. Local diving takes in sites including Tiger Island, 문섬, 숲섬 and 섶섬.

Underwater, divers can encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and more. On land, facilities include an onsite training pool, classroom, aquarium/deep pool, dive boat, onsite accommodation, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and parking.
