Die Tauchbasis

Die Tauchbasis has for many years been an integral part of the diving scene in the Koblenz metropolitan area. Herbert Siepen Koetter—formerly Jack City—opened his shop for diving products back in 1988, and what began as an exciting recreational sport and hobby grew into a full professional pursuit. With the move to a new building in late 2009, the center now offers 280 square metres of sales and workshop space.

Courses and services

As a PADI Dive Center with 10 PADI instructors, Die Tauchbasis delivers very good diving training to international standards, from complete beginner right through to instructor. You'll also find PADI First Aid EFR courses and a friendly dive club to keep you connected between sessions.

Beyond training, the shop stocks a wide range of branded diving products and provides competent technical service—repairs, spare parts, overhauls and MOT bottles. Services include air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and scuba equipment rental, plus free Wi-Fi, a retail shop and parking. English and German are both spoken, making it a welcoming base for divers of every level.
