Set in Santa Catalina and Isla Coiba, Panama, Dive Base Coiba is your gateway to Coiba National Park and the Contreras Archipelago, just 20 minutes away. Based in Pixvae, it's the area's first dive centre and first PADI Dive Resort — pioneers who brought professional diving to this corner of the Pacific.

Courses and dives for every level

With 3 PADI Instructors on hand, the centre runs a full path from first breath to further training: PADI Discover Scuba Diving, the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses, and the Advanced Open Water Diver. Already certified? The 1 Day Dive Adventure gets you underwater from USD 195.

Explore local sites such as Wish Point, Danger Point, Prosper Rock / Nevera, Wahoo, El Faro and Twin Peaks, where sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels and corals fill the water. An onsite classroom, dive boat, free Wi-Fi, air fills, Nitrox and full equipment rental round out the setup. Staff speak English and Spanish — ideal for beginners and returning divers alike.
