Dive Brockville Adventure Centre

Set on the waterfront in Brockville within the 1000 Islands, Dive Brockville Adventure Centre is a full-service PADI Dive Center working the world-class shipwrecks of the Upper St Lawrence River, Picton on Lake Ontario, and the US wrecks between Fishers Landing and Chippewa Bay. With four charter boats, six PADI instructors, and two charters a day, seven days a week from April to December, it's a hub for wreck divers who want history beneath the surface.

Courses and conditions

Training runs May through September, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving to Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Enriched Air Diver — and there's an Open Water Referral Part 1 to start your certification over winter. Summer waters reach up to 80 degrees with no thermocline in the river, while spring and fall dives suit a 7mm wetsuit.

Signature dive sites include Robert Gaskin and Centeen Park. With nitrox, trimix and high-pressure oxygen fills, full equipment rentals, an onsite classroom and a retail shop, it suits solo divers and groups of 2 to 20 alike — and single divers can be paired with a buddy.
