Tucked into the picturesque town of Portobelo on Panama's Caribbean coast, Dive Center Portobelo offers an authentic, accessible diving experience just an hour and a half from Panama City. Courses for every level

As a PADI Resort with two certified PADI instructors, the center runs a full slate of courses — from the PADI Open Water Diver Course for beginners through Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, Rescue Diver and all the way to Divemaster. There's also a Full-Day Dive Trip and a Night Dive for those who want to get straight into the water.

Underwater, expect encounters with sharks, turtles, rays, eels, ocean fish, molluscs, crustaceans, corals and more. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, seafront accommodation, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi — and instruction in English and Spanish — it suits both first-timers and seasoned divers looking for a relaxed getaway.
