Dive Kawartha

Tucked into the gentle waters of the Kawartha Lakes in Lindsay, Canada, Dive Kawartha opens up a freshwater world that most visitors never get to see. Its team of PADI instructors and divemasters share the life of the local diving community, mentoring newcomers and seasoned divers alike in the ways of the dive life.

Training and local diving

As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 8 PADI instructors, Dive Kawartha covers recreational, technical and professional levels — from beginner scuba training and specialty and instructor courses through to advanced, technical and closed circuit rebreather diving. An onsite classroom, retail shop and dive boat round out the setup, with air fills, nitrox, trimix and mixed gas on hand along with full equipment sales, servicing and rental.

Local charters and guided dives explore sites and shipwrecks including Burleigh Falls and P.B. Locke, and there are conservation programmes and a dive club to join. It suits families, friends and anyone curious about the world beneath Canada's freshwater summit.
