About Dolphin Excursions SARL
Dolphin Excursions is the only PADI Gold Palm accredited dive centre in Djibouti, based in Djibouti Town and operating since 2000. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, it runs a variety of diving and snorkelling full-day trips, taking divers and snorkellers out to the areas of Arta, Musha and Tadjourah.
Courses and what to expect
The centre offers a focused course line-up, including the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver over roughly two days, the PADI Open Water Diver across about four days, and a PADI Scuba Refresher of around five hours. Out in the water, you may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, rays, ocean fish, molluscs and crustaceans among the marine life.
On-site you'll find a training pool, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a dive boat, with staff speaking English, French and Arabic. It's a solid fit for newcomers starting out and certified divers wanting to brush up their skills while exploring Djibouti's waters.

★ 5 · James Kipper · 2011-06-03Being a chronic diver and marooned in Djibouti for about a year, it was inevitable that Dolphin Services and I would cross paths; it was the friendly, outstanding service I received that kept me coming back for 100 dives. The Dolphin ownership and staff are quite easy to work with and will do whatever it takes to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. They exemplify a level of professionalism surprising for this part of the world. Recently Dolphin added 4 day “96’er” liveaboard cruises aboard their 2-masted schooner “Deli Valetta “. They operate several other great boats which can cater to the clientele’s group size and/or dive ability. Multilingual Dive Instructors and trustworthy boat crews that operate like well oiled machinery make a day(s) on the water truly enjoyable.
