Double Down Divers

Double Down Divers is a full-service scuba facility in Barrie, Canada, built to support divers from their first breath underwater all the way to technical depths. As a PADI Dive Center with two PADI Instructors, the shop delivers scuba certifications, continuing education, professional and technical courses, plus equipment sales, service and rentals.

Courses and what it's known for

The course slate runs from the PADI Open Water Diver Course and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver to a hands-on Dive Against Debris session from USD 56. Air, nitrox and tri-mix fills are all available on site, and the center's own dive boat can be booked for private charters or group walk-on trips, both local and international.

An onsite training pool and classroom, retail shop, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking round out the facilities. Divers here encounter sharks, whales, turtles, freshwater fish and more. With English spoken and a friendly dive club atmosphere, it suits beginners, continuing students and technical divers alike.
