Tucked into the little coastal town of Hamburgsund on Sweden's west coast, Dyk-Leif AB is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort with one clear passion: full-day excursions out to Väderöarna. These are the isolated islands at the very western edge of the archipelago, and the diving here is offshore and unhurried, set among a scatter of beautiful, remote islands.

What makes the diving special

The waters around Väderöarna sit in the Skagerrak, where an unusually high salt content supports a biodiversity greater than anywhere else in Sweden. Below the surface you'll find a fantastic underwater landscape: more than 20 species of nudibranch, soft and hard corals, sea anemones, lobsters and a wide range of fish. Because the marine life shifts so much with the seasons, no two visits look quite the same.
