East Coast Scuba & Watersports

Founded by ocean-loving divers with a passion for teaching, East Coast Scuba & Watersports is a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in Halifax, Canada. The team has been teaching diving in the Halifax area for the last 26 years, offering a full-service training provider and dive equipment retail outlet where certified divers and complete beginners are equally welcome.

Courses and local diving

Training ranges from PADI Open Water Diver via eLearning to PADI Emergency First Response, alongside a Half-Day Dive Trip. Courses are capped at a maximum of 6 people to ensure close supervision and enjoyment, and — uniquely — all open water divers are trained in dry suit use in the pool and complete their qualification dives in the dry suit in the ocean.

The centre gives easy access to Nova Scotia's dive sites, including Paddy's Head, Fox Point Beach, Mill Cove Beach and the HMCS Saguenay. With courses taught in English and French, it suits divers who want cold-water skills, technical progression and a relaxed shop atmosphere to plan their next adventure.
