Emperor Divers Honiara

Honiara is a dive destination like few others — a place where wartime history and vibrant reef life sit side by side. Some of the fiercest battles of WW2 were fought on the shores of Guadalcanal, and the waters of Iron Bottom Sound still hold the wrecks left behind: large ships, planes and submarines waiting to be explored.

Wrecks, reefs and courses for every diver

To complement the history, unspoilt reefs and healthy marine life surround nearby islands such as Tulagi. Emperor Divers Honiara offers both shore and boat diving for unforgettable day trips, with sites suited to beginners, experienced divers and tech divers alike.

As a PADI Dive Center with two PADI instructors, the team runs courses from try dives and Open Water through to Divemaster, and teaches specialities such as Wreck and Deep Diver. Facilities include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a dive boat and parking, with Nitrox, air fills and equipment rental on hand. English and German are spoken.
