Espace Mer

Set at the end of the Giens Peninsula and facing the island of Porquerolles, Espace Mer is a PADI Resort dive centre in Hyeres, France. With more than 30 years of experience, the team welcomes divers to explore the Mediterranean's rich underwater world — independently, in a group, or alongside their state-certified instructors and PADI Instructors.

Courses and diving

Three PADI Instructors lead the way here, with PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving and PADI Snorkelling all on offer. Nitrox is available, and the centre rents scuba, freediving and kids' equipment, making it an easy fit for families and divers travelling without their own gear. Both English and French are spoken.

From its waterfront base, Espace Mer runs a dive boat out to sites known for their Mediterranean marine life, where divers may encounter sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish and more. Parking on site rounds out the practical touches for a day on the water.
