Foca Dive Center

Tucked into the Aegean district of Foça in İzmir, Turkey, Foça Dalış Merkezi (Foca Dive Center) has been welcoming divers to the waterfront since it was founded on 26 June 2010. As a recognised PADI Dive Center, the shop sits right on the shoreline with its own house reef just steps from the door.

Courses and diving

A team of 3 PADI Instructors guides 6 courses and activities here, spanning PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, conservation, and PADI First Aid – EFR. Air fills, Nitrox, equipment sales, and a full range of scuba and freediving rental gear round out the services, and instruction is available in both English and Turkish.

The local dive site of Yelken Kaya opens up an underwater world that can include ocean fish, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and jellyfish, plus turtles and other marine life. With an onsite classroom, dive boat, retail shop, parking, and onsite accommodation, it suits everyone from first-time snorkellers to certified divers exploring the Aegean coast.
