Island Diving

Operating out of a waterfront base in Gustavia, Island Diving has been running recreational dives in Saint-Barthélemy since 1993. As a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort with a resident PADI instructor, it's a place built around teaching and getting people comfortable in the water, whether you're picking up the basics or logging your next dive.

Courses and what to expect

The center offers PADI Scuba Diving and PADI Snorkelling, along with EFR first aid training, so there's a clear path from first breaths underwater to more confident diving. On-site air fills, equipment sales, a dive club, parking and a dedicated dive boat round out the setup, and the team works in both English and French.

The waters here bring a genuinely varied cast: sharks, rays, turtles, whales and other marine mammals, ocean fish, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish. It suits divers who want an established, instructor-led center with easy waterfront access and a friendly, club-style feel.
