JR Dive

JR Dive is a PADI 5 Star Dive Center based in the Wirye new town area of Seongnam-si, South Korea. From your very first breaths underwater through to professional ranks, the centre runs the full PADI ladder — Open Water all the way to instructor training — alongside a range of specialty courses, so divers can keep progressing without changing schools.

Dive sites and marine life

Local diving takes in sites including Tiger Island, 섶섬 작은한개창, 숲섬 and 문섬, where the waters host sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels and echinoderms, molluscs and crustaceans, and more. The team also operates a branch in Seogwipo on Jeju Island, opening up year-round diving options.

On-site you'll find a classroom, retail shop, food and drinks, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and parking, with scuba equipment rental and sales available. Staff speak English and Korean, and the centre also runs a dive club and conservation activities — a solid fit for new divers, those chasing certifications, and anyone wanting a friendly home base.
