Kunie Scuba Center

Set on the waterfront at the Isle of Pines in New Caledonia, Kunie Scuba Center opens onto the breathtaking Bay of Gadji, where almost 20 dive sites wait to be explored. Divers here move between channels, walls, pinnacles and caves — a mix varied enough that beginners and experienced divers alike will find something to enjoy. Thanks to the orientation of the island, the team can select a dive site sheltered from the wind every single day.

Courses and who it suits

As a PADI Resort with 2 PADI instructors, Kunie Scuba Center offers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving and PADI Snorkelling, so it's a natural fit whether you're taking your first breaths underwater or logging serious dives. Freediving equipment rental is available for those who prefer to go down on a single breath.

The waters here are rich with life — sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals and anemones among them. With English, French and Japanese spoken, visitors from many corners of the world will feel at home.
