La Scubatheque

Founded in the Quebec region in 1987, La Scubathèque is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center based in Québec City and an active member of PADI. With a team of 10 PADI Instructors, it has built its reputation on professional, welcoming service in a relaxed setting — and on being one of the largest dive stores in Eastern Canada.

Courses and training

The center offers the full range of recreational diving training, from initiation and beginner courses through a wide selection of specialties, all the way up to instructor level. Classes come in several formats — private, group, evening, day, week or weekend — for maximum flexibility. Divers ready to push past recreational limits can also take PADI TecRec technical training.

Local diving unfolds around Les Escoumins, including Crique Ouest, la crique Est and the Baie des anémones, plus the quarry sites of Carrière Neuville and Carrière Flintkote. With air fills, Nitrox, equipment and scooter (DPV) rental, a dive club and service in English and French, La Scubathèque suits everyone from first-timers to committed technical divers.
