Lady G'Diver, Ltd., Jamaica

Set in Port Antonio, Jamaica, Lady G'Diver is a two-generation, family-operated dive facility offering safe, comfortable diving without the complications of a large "cattle boat" operation. Fully insured and licensed by the Jamaica Tourist Board, this PADI 5 Star Dive Resort runs with two Master Instructors, a Senior Dive Master, and an experienced support crew. Trips carry no more than six divers aboard a 32-foot covered boat, and each dive is accompanied underwater by at least one Dive Master, usually an Instructor as well.

Reefs, walls and warm, easy water

The dive sites fan out east and west of the bay across roughly eight miles of interconnected coral reefs and walls, none more than fifteen minutes away. All dives are drift dives over sites averaging 30 to 110 feet, with visible drop-offs of over 300 feet, visibility normally 70 feet plus, and water at a near-constant 81 degrees. Expect walls, canyons, overhangs and swim-throughs, with sharks, whales, turtles and plentiful ocean fish.

Air fills, nitrox and equipment rental are on hand, along with an onsite classroom, adaptive services and free Wi-Fi. Night dives, deep dives and photography dives suit divers looking to build experience in an unhurried, personal setting.
