Lagoon Dive Club

Lagoon Dive Club sits right at the arrival jetty of Hotel Lagoon View Maldives on AA Bodufolhudhoo, in North Ari Atoll. It's a PADI Dive Center with five PADI instructors on staff, and the waterfront setup means the water is never more than a few steps away — there's a house reef on the doorstep and a dive boat for trips further out.

Learning to dive here

The centre runs the PADI Open Water Diver Course from USD 480, taking roughly four days. Training happens in a purpose-built classroom and an onsite pool before you head into the ocean, and there are showers, restrooms, changing facilities, lockers and a dive shop to make the days easy. Instruction is available in English and Italian.

Beyond scuba, the club offers PADI Freediving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid – EFR, plus nitrox, equipment sales and rentals for scuba, kids, freediving and scooters (DPV). Marine life in the area includes sharks, whales, turtles and ocean fish. With onsite accommodation, food and drinks, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and conservation activities, it suits anyone after adventure, relaxation, or simply a deeper connection with the ocean.
