M/C Treasure of Galapagos

M/C Treasure of Galapagos is a first-class catamaran based at Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador, built in Guayaquil in 2009 and specially designed for cruising the Galapagos with efficient daily operations and minimum impact on the fragile ecosystem. As a PADI Dive Boat, it makes an easygoing base for exploring the waters around Santa Cruz Island.

Diving and who it suits

Diving here is centred on PADI scuba diving from the boat, so it fits divers who want a comfortable, small-group way to experience the Galapagos. The crew works in English and Spanish, and warm-water showers are on hand after each dive.

Between dives, the cabins feel like floating hotel rooms, each with a private balcony, ocean views, private facilities, air-conditioning, hair-dryer, bathrobes and an indoor seating area. A whirlpool on the sun deck offers panoramic views, while the professional kitchen staff serve a substantial breakfast and warm lunches and dinners al fresco, all in abundant buffet style.
