Mako Dive

Run by a couple of instructors, Mako Dive is a PADI 5 Star IDC center on Jeju Island, based in Seogwipo. With three PADI instructors on staff, it's a place where a diving tour and accommodation come together in one spot — there's separate male and female guesthouse space alongside a large area to rest between dives.

Local diving and courses

Divers here explore Seogwipo sites including Tiger Island, 섶섬 작은한개창, 숲섬 and 문섬. The surrounding waters host an impressive range of marine life, from sharks, whales and turtles to ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish.

The center keeps things easy with an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat, parking and onsite accommodation. Services cover air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and rental, a dive club and conservation activities, with a full range of rental gear available. Staff speak Korean and Chinese, making it a solid fit for divers wanting an all-in-one Jeju diving base.
