MDI Scuba

MDI Scuba is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive center based in Seogwipo, on South Korea's Jeju-do. As a five-star instructor development centre, it's geared toward divers who want to keep progressing — from first breaths underwater right through to professional-level training.

Courses and services

The centre runs the full PADI range, including recreational Scuba Diving, TecRec technical courses, Freediving, Snorkelling, EFR First Aid, Public Safety Diver and Adaptive Diving. On-site facilities include a training pool, a classroom, an aquarium/deep pool and an Adaptive Services Facility, so courses can move from theory to confined water without leaving the building. Air fills, Nitrox and mixed gas are available, alongside equipment sales and rental — covering scuba, kids' and freediving gear.

A dive boat, parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning round out the setup, and the team also takes part in conservation activities. Staff speak English and Korean, making MDI Scuba a welcoming base for both local and visiting divers exploring the waters around Seogwipo.
