MER

Tucked into Goyang-si, South Korea, MER is a PADI Freediver Center built for divers who want to go from their very first breath-hold to full certification. The center blends daily freediving experience with a structured, paddy-based education system, and even runs both domestic and overseas diving tours.

What MER offers

With 13 PADI Instructors on staff, MER covers a broad range of training — PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Freediving, PADI Mermaid and PADI First Aid (EFR) — all delivered at a purpose-built facility. An onsite training pool and classroom mean you can learn the fundamentals in a controlled setting before heading further afield.

On site you'll find free Wi-Fi and parking, plus equipment sales and rental, including freediving gear and kids' equipment rental, making it a practical choice for families and first-timers alike. Instruction is offered in Korean, and the center keeps long daily hours throughout the week to suit varied schedules.
