Mikumba Diving

Founded by passionate divers for divers, Mikumba Diving is a PADI dive centre based in Komodo, Indonesia, with a simple aim: to deliver the best diving in Indonesia it can. The team runs daily diving trips and liveaboard trips in Komodo, plus mid-range liveaboard adventures in Raja Ampat, and operates in Komodo all year round.

Diving in Komodo and beyond

Komodo's waters reward divers with healthy coral reefs, huge numbers of colourful fish, graceful sharks and majestic mantas. Local dive sites include Batu Bolong, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Manta Point, Tatawa Besar, Mawan, Siaba Besar and Siaba Kecil, with marine life ranging from sharks and rays to turtles and whales. From October to April, the liveaboard reaches Raja Ampat, Ambon, Alor and other spots in the Banda Sea.

With four PADI instructors and a team speaking English, Spanish, Italian and Indonesian, Mikumba suits divers who want a hands-on, divers-first operation. You can charter the boats for your own group or join individually to enjoy snorkelling, diving, beach walks and good food.
