More Sub D.o.o.

Set on the coast at Makarska, Croatia, More Sub is a family-run PADI 5 Star Dive Center that traces its roots back to 1993. Run by the Runtić family — Agnes, Anna, Mate, Marko and Bojan — the center became an SSI operation in 1996 and moved to PADI instruction in 2000. Today its four PADI instructors welcome divers in 16 languages, from English and Croatian to Spanish, German and beyond.

Courses, sites and who it suits

With 23 courses and activities on offer, there's a route for every level. Newcomers can take PADI Discover Scuba Diving or the kid-friendly Bubblemaker, lapsed divers can refresh with PADI ReActivate, and those chasing skills can add PADI Wreck Diver, Drift Diver or Emergency First Response.

Boat dives run every morning from 8 to 12, with afternoons on request. The center works local sites including the Medici Wreck, Blue cave Hvar, Nugal and Punta Osejava, backed by a house reef, onsite classroom, retail shop and air, Nitrox and Trimix fills. Prices start from USD 120.
