Plan this trip with AI →Set in South Malé Atoll in the Maldives, MV Carpe Vita is a PADI dive boat built for divers who want their diving safari to feel as comfortable as any stay on land. The 125-foot, 20-passenger wooden-hull yacht sails with a matching custom dhoni dive tender, and its air-conditioned interior offers hotel-style staterooms and a large sundeck with sunloungers for watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean.
With PADI scuba diving and enriched air (Nitrox) available, MV Carpe Vita is a natural fit for divers keen to explore the hidden corners of the Maldives in a small, sociable group. Fish ID and diving books help you make the most of each descent, while warm-water showers and Wi-Fi (charged) keep things easy between dives.
Good food is part of the philosophy here, with hearty breakfasts and evening meals built around vegetables, rice, pasta, chicken, beef or fish, plus occasional local specialities. English and Maldivian are spoken aboard, and movies and audio-video entertainment round out the downtime.

★ 5 · Roeland Defrancq · 2023-05-03We had 1 week in april on the boat carpe vita. It was great. The boat is in a very good condition and very proper. The rooms are cleaned daily and also the rest of the boat is in good condition. The staff is very good, very friendly, helpfull and open minded. Captain Adam, a very good fisher :), and his staff are always taking care, that there are no wishes. Also the route is very well planned and the places to anker are nice and calm. The kitchen is extraordinairy good, tastfull, fresh and divers, using local species and local dishes. The diving crew is also very good organized and the dive sites are well and responsable planned. The guides and the crew of the dony are very good, very friendly and very helpfull and always a smile on the face. They know the sites very well and the whole dive is perfect done. Especially our guide Sanaah was very nice, took very care of his group and loved to show us small things under water. All in all it was a perfect week, with a perfect boat and crew and nice people on board. We will definitely redo it
★ 4 · John Lourie · 2022-04-11Staff and food were excellent. We dove the deep south atolls of Maldives. We only spent 2 dives in Fuvamuluh with no overnight (tiger shark territory). We also anchored 3 nights and dove Koodoo and Vilingili channel multiple times: too many repeats of the same channels. Othewise great trip. Reefs were in decent shape in the far south and poor shape above the equator: lots of dead reefs from a prior El Nino apparently.
★ 5 · Jean-Paul Grethen · 2021-05-08This liveaboard exceeded all our expectations in all rating topics. We were happy to have the oportunity to dive from this great livaboard. The diving and boat crew always strives for the satisfaction of the guests and the food is absolutely delicious. We can recommend this liveaboard without any doubt.
