South Malé Atoll, Maldives · Dive Center★ 4.7
Plan this trip with AI →The 2016 Emperor Serenity brings together the diving of the Maldives atolls and the comfort of an elegant liveaboard. Based around South Malé Atoll, it takes divers into the world of Kandu and Thila sites, where mantas, whale sharks and a vibrant array of marine life turn up along the reefs and channels.
This is a PADI dive boat, with enriched air (Nitrox) available for divers who want longer time in the water. Warm-water showers and a battery charging station keep the practical side simple, and a shelf of fish ID and diving books is on hand for anyone wanting to put a name to what they saw. English is spoken on board, with other languages available on request.
Between dives there's the sundeck for soaking up the Maldivian sunshine, or a beachside BBQ on a secluded island. The 40-metre vessel takes up to 26 guests in 13 spacious en-suite, air-conditioned cabins, which suits divers who want their days spent in the water and their downtime genuinely comfortable.

★ 5 · Christine Dietz · 2021-04-02The boat was beautiful and the staff was helpful and friendly. My guide, Russ, was great and the trip leader Thomas was well organized and friendly. The dive sites were amazing and they all worked hard to make the trip memorable. I definitely plan to return again in the future!
