★ 5 · Helen Burton · 2011-07-26We've dived at many excellent locations - Sipaden Island, The Great Barrier Reef, Santo etc. Never have we witnessed the amazing variety of marine life and beautiful coral that was the Rainbow Reef at Taveuni. But lets start from the beginning. Upon booking (from Australia) TOS checked with us re our gear requirements. Our dive gear has seen better days so we decided to use theirs which was all new and state of the art e.g. no clunky old weight belts, well fitting wetsuits and BCDs etc The dive briefing was amazing - detailed and accompanied by pictures of what we might see. Aaron and Julie provided a wonderful experience for all the divers (they only work with small groups) and despite some strong currents on one dive, they made what would normally have been a stressful experience easy and enjoyable. The White Wall lived up to it's stellar reputation; other sites were equally wonderful - all sizes of fish including sharks, eels, and the small stuff as well. Visibility - 20m at it's worst; 30+ most of the time. Aaron has a slate and points out things that we would never have found by ourselves. Breaks inbetween dives consisted of yummy home baked snacks and unlimited drinks. TOS is professionalism plus, no matter if you are an experienced diver right down to a novice, you'll be looked after both above and below the water. The only problem is that now every other operator pails in comparison.
★ 5 · Robert Luxenberg · 2010-01-09My wife and teenage son and I had the good fortune to get certified and begin our diving adventure at Nakia. In every way Nakia met our expectations: the location is incredible, the accommodations are lovely, the food consistently delicious, and the hosts (and their help) truly delightful. The snorkeling is quite good (in clear, calm water) right in front of Nakia. And the diving speaks for itself (a top 10 dive site according to many web sites and experienced divers). My only complaint (from what I hear) is that, as first time divers, all other dives will pale by comparison.
★ 5 · Karen Buzzi · 2009-08-17Julie and Aaron are fabulous instructors that really take the time to make sure everyone on board in comfortable with their equiptment and they are very careful once we're under the water. They are always watching to make sure everyone is together and that eveything is working properly. Julie gave us a great tutorial on the dive sites and the different life we might see while on our way to the sites. in between dives they brough plenty of delicious baked treats, fruits, juices and water. My favorite dive site that we went to was The Zoo. It's pretty amazing...saw a bunch of sharks, schools of baracuda and beautiful fish & coral. I wouldn't dive with any other company in Fiji.
