Native Diving Ecuador

Tucked along the waterfront in Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, Native Diving Ecuador is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort where a team of 4 PADI Instructors guides divers of every level. With three languages spoken — English, Spanish and French — it's an easy fit for visiting divers, and its rental kit runs from XS to XXL, renewed each year.

Courses and dive sites

The centre offers 6 courses and activities, from the PADI Open Water Diver (E-learning) and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver to half-day and full-day dive trips and an excursion to the Isla de la Plata. Prices start from USD 70. Local diving reaches sites such as Bahia Drake, El acuario, Tres Rocas, Roca Honda and El pináculo around Isla de la Plata, plus Islote Los Ahorcados, bahia de puerto lopez and bajo cope.

Divers can expect encounters with sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs, crustaceans and corals. On land there's an onsite training pool, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, a dive boat, hot showers, lockers and parking — with Nitrox and air fills on hand.
