Guam, Guam · Dive Center
Plan this trip with AI →The Micronesian Divers Association has been in business for more than 45 years, and in that time it's grown into the largest 100% PADI Aware facility in Micronesia. Based at the Naval Exchange on Guam, MDA runs the largest dive operation in the region alongside the most complete scuba equipment repair facilities — and for nearly 18 years it has served as the diving services contractor for the U.S. Navy Exchange Services on Guam.
As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre with 20 PADI instructors on staff, MDA covers PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling and PADI First Aid – EFR, with enriched air (Nitrox) available for divers who want longer bottom time. Air fills, equipment sales, and rental gear — including kids' equipment — round out the operation, and there's a retail shop, air conditioning and parking on site.
Guam's dive sites reach from reef to wreck: Gab Gab and Gab Gab II, Tarzan Cave, Harley Reef, The Tunnel, Blue Hole, Coral Gardens, Turtle Rock, Barracuda Rock, Finger Reef, Western Shoals, Sharks Pit and the Amphitheater, plus wrecks including the Kitsugawa Maru, Tokai Maru, SMS Cormoran, American Tanker and Val Bomber.
Instruction is in English. The centre suits divers who want a long-established operation with deep local knowledge — from first-timers and families through to instructor candidates and wreck enthusiasts.
