Ocean Quest Adventure Resort

Set on the rugged Atlantic shores of Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, Ocean Quest Adventure Resort is North America's gateway to epic cold-water diving. As a PADI 5-Star IDC Centre with a team of 10 PADI instructors, it offers full training from first-time beginner all the way to pro, with a strong focus on drysuit diving, historic WWII wrecks, shore dives, and guided expeditions.

Courses, dives and what to expect

The centre runs the PADI Rescue Diver course, a roughly two-day program from USD 509, alongside a wider menu of courses and activities. Divers explore the famous Bell Island wrecks, scenic shore sites, and the area's wild coastlines, all under expert instruction with quality rental gear on hand. Marine encounters can include sharks, whales, turtles, ocean fish, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, plus corals, anemones and jellyfish.

On site you'll find a training pool, classroom, retail shop, dive boat, accommodation and free Wi-Fi, with air fills, nitrox and mixed gas all available. English-speaking and welcoming to every level, Ocean Quest suits anyone ready to trade tropical comfort for true Atlantic adventure.
