Omanta Scuba Diving Academy

Omanta Scuba Diving Academy is a PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre based in Salalah, Oman, staffed by 8 PADI instructors. It's built for divers who want the full sultanate experience in one place — scuba and snorkelling day trips to the Daymaniat island, dolphin and whale shark watching, plus camping and safari across Oman.

Courses and dive sites

The centre runs a broad slate of training, from PADI Scuba Diving and Snorkelling to PADI TecRec, Rebreather/CCR diving, First Aid (EFR), Public Safety Diver, Adaptive Diving and Conservation programmes. Nitrox, Trimix and mixed gas are all available for divers pushing further.

Local diving centres on Bander Khiran & Fahal island, with sites including Al Fahal Island, Aquarium, Three Sisters, Turtle City, Black Tip and Shark Bay. Expect sharks, whales, turtles, rays, eels, molluscs and crustaceans, corals, anemones and plenty of ocean fish. With a dive boat, food and drinks, and staff speaking English, Dutch, French and Arabic, it suits everyone from first-timers to technical divers.
