Rec & Tek Scuba Inc.

Rec & Tek SCUBA has been a fixture of Hamilton, Ontario's diving community since 2001, serving divers across the greater Hamilton, Burlington and Niagara areas. It's a PADI Dive Center backed by a deep bench of 9 PADI Instructors, offering everything from equipment rental and supply to air fills and instruction in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

Courses, dive sites and who it suits

Training runs the full range, including PADI Scuba Diving, PADI Snorkelling, PADI First Aid (EFR) and Conservation courses, with technical divers well looked after through Nitrox, Trimix and mixed-gas fills. An onsite classroom, retail shop and dive boat round out the setup, and both English and French are spoken.

Local diving spans a wide spread of freshwater and Ontario sites, from Cedar Hills and the Niagara River drift dives to the Wreck of the Waome, Sweepstakes, Marmora Scuba Park, Welland SCUBA Park and Lake Simcoe. With everything from kids' and freediving gear to scooter (DPV) rental, plus a dive club and conservation activities, it suits new divers, families and seasoned tech divers alike.
