Scuba 2000

For more than 40 years, Scuba 2000 has been at the heart of scuba diving in Ontario, guiding thousands of divers to explore the underwater world with confidence. Based in Toronto, this PADI 5 Star IDC center is proud to be the only dive center in Ontario with a tropical on-site pool — a safe, comfortable place to master your skills before heading into open water.

Training and what to expect

With 53 PADI instructors on the team, Scuba 2000 suits everyone from first-timers taking their very first breaths underwater to divers advancing their training. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course runs roughly 2 days, from USD 562. An onsite classroom, training pool, retail shop, and onsite accommodation round out the experience.

Beyond courses, you'll find air fills, nitrox, equipment sales and rental, freediving gear, a dive club, and curated dive trips around the world. The team speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino, Hebrew, Urdu, Indonesian, Hindi, and Polish — making this one of Ontario's most established and welcoming dive destinations.
